Welcome on the official site of Leo de Deugd photographer from the Netherlands, who keeps himself occupied with the "art of celebrating the beauty of the human form".
He cannot imagine doing anything else but photographing, now already for more than twenty five years, and the last seven years as an lifestyle photographer.
Sometimes good photography only is not enough, because you are working in a team and everybody with his own profession. To create the disired effect many additional elements are necessary. In looking what role the camera plays in all this, we can perhaps best categorise it into two streams, -pure photography and creative direction- .
The combination of women and revealing clothing led to a certain form of interaction which was perceptible on the photograph.
The photography of Leo gives clearly a feeling of privacy The portraits have been stolen personal moments of desire, and components of a sexual life (both in the reality and fiction). In its work Leo processed a complete landscape a reality printed to intimacy, fantasy, desire, dominance and emotions to. Unique of the photography of Leo is that there a type dancing arises between photographer and model. At that moment of it a passage situation takes place poses to acts. The difference is that at pose there a static picture is created and at act a dynamic picture is created. There is very clearly a combined action of the photographer and the model to pace, which is on the photograph indirectly to see. He becomes a silent witness of a fantasy. |
